I’ve always loved cars. Now I’m breaking up with mine. We’re going our separate ways.
I’m in my mid-thirties. I live outside Boston, home of the first underground subway in America. But my family lives in NH, and this is America – the automobile-crazed country that started it all.
Freedom, mobility, emergency housing unit. Social expression on the outside and personal pod for music/eating/communication and get-away-from-it-all on the inside.
But also gas prices. Traffic. Emissions. Concrete and asphalt. Oil dependency.
How hard is this going to be?
